Ecclectic Living room

Sam has carefully put together interesting objects gathered during her travels which give a shabby chic bohemian style to her eclectic living room.

Sam is a people person, cheerful and warm. She loves travelling, and likes to entertain friends and family. Her home reflects her bubbly personality and her understanding of the world.

“Whenever I travelled I kept an eagle eye out for any unusual items.”

Part of an Arab nomad’s tent is used as a fringe along the curtain rails, a Balinese face mask, an Indian pierced screen with hand painted panels, and door pillars from an Indian house made into a bookcase all fit together beautifully in this Arabic Bazaar.

There are unusual pieces such as a coffee table which was previously an Indian sledge cart and also a window frame from a Swedish summer cottage that Sam has transformed into a mirror.

Look above your head and you will see an unusual customized Swedish handmade
chandelier made for Christmas – an unusual addition to the room.

The orange colour scheme fills the room with happiness ...Saturday night... her living room is full of laughter...but when the party is over, Sam likes to be away from the rest of the world and the room becomes a restful place where she enjoys reading and relaxing.
